I think I was born to be a producer. I love to make things happen, and do so pretty effortlessly. I stumbled in to the ad world right out of college with a theatre degree, and have never looked back. A veteran producer, I've shot spots and created content of every shape and size, built production departments, traveled the world and have had the good fortune to work with some of the smartest and funniest people in the business. The best work I've produced still taps in to authentic human connections no matter what new platform it's served up on.
On the theatre-side of life, I am fortunate to direct and produce in a variety of theaters in the New York area. From the first read-through closing night, I find the creation of live theatre incredibly fulfilling. The process of directing a play requires an unplugging and a patience for process. I find it the perfect juxtaposition for the fast-paced immediacy of video production life. I just opening a piece for Ripple Effects Artists, a theatre company with a mission of social action. It is called “2071, The World We’ll Leave Our Grandchildren” and was written by climate scientist Chris Rapley and playwright Duncan Macmillan. Playing through August 12th at the Episcopal Actor’s Guild. More info at rippleeffectartists.ocm
